Spring has the same qualities of Polycoolite with out the diffused layer. It is a nice shade of soda-Bottle green. It has the same SHGC, but it is transparent rather than translucent. It retains the same heat shielding qualities as Polycoolite. As is shown by the chart above  Spring provides maximum absorption of solar near-infra-red radiation. The second chart is showing findings from a lab study that after several hours Spring will maintain a temperature of 8 degrees C lower that clear polycarbonate. Spring has a special co-extrusion layer on the external side of the sheet under the UV protective layer. Because of this, the invisible IR solar radiation and heat are blocked. Therefore, less heat enters the structure, but maximum light is still allowed in. During the winter months the outstanding insulation properties will save on energy cost. The benefit to you is all year thermal comfort, light and energy savings. It is available in 8mm in 6' widths. Cost is $2.12 per square foot for 8mm and $5.01 for 16mm. Cost does not include crating or shipping costs. The crating is $10 per foot for 48" wide and $13.00 per foot for 72" wide.  Please note: Shipping for polycarbonate is done by Common Carrier (trucking companies).  We do not offer pick up. Also, we will not cut sheets small enough to ship UPS. Any sheets under 6' length will have additional cutting charges. If you are looking for less than 8 sheets we would suggest Solexx as an appropriate substitute. It can be shipped UPS.
